Following up on their recent hard-hitting single "F The NRA," The Coathangers continue to assert themselves as one of the most vital and truth-seeking punk bands around with their new track "Step Back."

Taken from the forthcoming album The Devil You Know, out March 8 on Suicide Squeeze, the band explains that "Step Back" is a "reflection of the pain and helplessness that comes with loving someone who is lost in the fog of addiction. We have all been touched by the effects of drug and alcohol issues, which often leave us feeling bewildered. Lurking in the shadows all around us, addiction is the monster that has taken too many people we love away from us. This song is a plea to get them back."

PUNK BAND TO MAKE ONLY NYC AREA APPEARANCE @ WHITE EAGLE HALL IN JERSEY CITY

Frank-Iero_1

Frank Iero and The Patience
(opener:The Homeless Gospel Choir)
WHEN: Saturday, July 22; Doors: 7:00 PM/ Show: 8:00 PM
WHERE:
White Eagle Hall, 335-337 Newark Ave, Jersey City
TICKETS: $20 - $25
(for ages:16+).

To purchase tickets, visit: www.WhiteEagleHallJC.com

Frank Iero and the Patience plays historic White Eagle Hall in Jersey City in the only New York City area appearance of their current tour.

Frank Iero, a Bellville, N.J. native, is eager to perform at this newly renovated concert hall that reopened in May. “I’m really excited to be playing a home town show in Jersey City,” says Iero. “We’ve had amazing shows in J.C. before and I’m really looking forward to playing a new venue there. I’ve heard great things about White Eagle Hall and I’m excited to discover another gem in the city that holds my heart.”

Opening for Frank Iero and The Patience at White Eagle Hall will be The Homeless Gospel Choir.

Frank Iero and The Patience features: Frank Iero (Guitar.Vocals), Evan Nestor (Guitar, Vocals), Matt Olsson (Drums,Vocals) and Alex Grippo (Bass).

Frank Iero, who gained fame as a member of My Chemical Romance and the post-hardcore punk band, LeATHERMØUTH, formed his punk solo punk project, Frank Iero and the Patience (originally known as frnkiero and the cellabration) in 2014. The group’s recent album, Parachutes, released in October of 2016, is considered by many critics to be a personal breakthrough for the artist. “These burnt and frayed punk songs burst forth with purpose and power, bearing the pale scars of some deep psychic wounds….. Iero has made a grand statement with Parachutes that should not be overlooked.” (Alternative Press)

"Parachutes are life saving devices,” Iero says about his newest record. “The act of living can be random and strange, beautiful and ugly at the same time and the only thing that is undeniably certain is eventually we are all gonna hit the ground. Some of us plummet at an incredible rate and it’s over in a flash, but some of us get saved and are able to enjoy the view for a little while.”

Originally constructed in 1910, the newly restored White Eagle Hall is an impressive new venue for arts and entertainment, including concerts, theater, performances and other events in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area. White Eagle Hall features complete Food & Beverage service, with two bars on the mezzanine level and one on the balcony level. The restoration enhanced the intimacy and charm of this historic venue while adding the latest in sound and lighting technology, creating a distinctive and memorable audience experience.
