SINATRA ON THE SANDS WITH DANNY BACHER

Dr. Topilow Debuts on the Asbury Park Boardwalk

An oceanside tribute to Ole Blue Eyes, SINATRA ON THE SANDS will feature acclaimed vocalist Danny Bacher backed by Dr. Art Topilow on piano and his trio. The concert will take place on Thursday, August 12, at the Arthur Pryor Bandshell on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, at 6:30 PM.

Danny Bacher, an entertainer in the fullest sense of the word, continues the legacy of Frank Sinatra, performing around New York and the Metropolitan area. He is a recent recipient of the prestigious Margaret Whiting Award and was nominated for best male vocalist in 2019 by National Jazz Times

Dr. Art Topilow has moonlighted as a jazz pianist since med school and has played alongside Dick Hyman, Ann Hampton Callaway, Vince Giordano and many other jazz greates, as well Broadway legends such as Bernadette Peters and Christine Ebersole.

The Arthur Pryor Bandshell, newly restored for this season, is located upstairs The Iron Whale Restaurant (1200 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park). There is a full bar in the Bandshell, though there is no food service at this time.
