Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Dance program, in conjunction with the College’s Arts & Design department, will present the “Raritan Valley Artist Series.” The eight half-hour episodes will premiere on Fridays, February 5-March 26. These episodes are available to the public and are also being sent to local senior centers and schools to include in their virtual programming.

The series examines how artists create their work, and each episode includes a short biography of the performer along with samples of the artist’s work. Artists rage from students to professionals in both the dance and music genres. The series starts with RVCC Dance faculty member Marissa Aucoin (February 5) and continues with Dance major Alison Stone (February 12), Music faculty Anna Keiserman (February 19), RVCC Dance alumna Michelle Lukach (February 26), Dance faculty Loretta Fois (March 5), Dance major Sharon Rodden (March 12), and Dance faculty Lauren Beirne (March 19). The segments will conclude March 26 with RVCC’s Spring 2020 DanceWorks dance film concert.
