WQXR re-airs its 2019 live broadcast of the NJSO’s performance of Handel’s Messiah at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.

NJSO Youth Orchestras begin creative composition

In a season-long creative composition project, NJSO Youth Orchestras student musicians are sharing their own musical voices, beginning with melodies and rhythms they will mold into new musical works. “We’re having an explosion of creativity,” Artistic Director José Luis Domínguez says.
