Pajtim doesn't dwell on borders.
His travel documents include pigment and paper, and he gets a thrill from "covering up" large surfaces under folds of mixed media assemblage.
EN ROUTE speaks to your journey. The exhibition, co-curated with KV Projects, features a new look at Pajtim's works on paper, installation, and ceramic sculpture in various permutations of color, steepness, and contrast. These busy bodies of work are incredible!
PAJTIM OSMANAJ
Pajtim was born in 1990. Raised in Istog, Kosovo, he attended the Art Academy of Kosovo to study painting before immigrating to New York in 2013, to study and make art. He started showing his work while employed as a construction worker in Manhattan, worked as an art handler in Chelsea, and gained the attention of an audience. He has been featured in publications including the New York Times, Artnet, and The Knockturnal.
