Join film critic, radio/TV personality, and writer-producer-director Mike Sargent for a screening and discussion. Sargent has curated a diverse collection of films, each showcasing a particular aspect of filmmaking, and provides the insightful perspective of a real industry insider.
The season starts with Don’t Think Twice (2016). When a member of a popular New York City improv troupe gets a huge break, the rest of the group, all best friends, start to realize that not everyone is going to make it after all. Director Mike Birbiglia showcases his brilliant talent for independent filmmaking with an amazing cast of comedians. Stars Keegan-Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs and Mike Birbiglia.
The series will continue monthly on Monday evenings, with the following 7 films:
