spiker and sponge2The story of Roald Dahl’s classic tale is faithfully told by James himself and the insect characters: Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybird and Earthworm.

James and the Giant Peach is a great introduction for first-timers to the work of the masterful Dahl. A theatrical treat for children and adults alike.

TOP: TV reporter,Julia Resnick (right) interviews James and his new buggy friends upon their landing in NYC James (Jacob Manthey center) surrounded by his new friends (L to R) Old Green Grasshopper (Betsy Zaubler, Lady Bug (Caitlyn O'Rourke), Centipede (Jonah Skeen), Earthworm (Olivia Collazo) and Miss Spider (Brittany Santiago).

CENTER: The peach is sailing through the air with the help of some local birds. On a British ship, the Captain ( AJ Marcus center) consults with his officers (Ella Freund left and Rayna Berlin right) about what the mysterious flying object could be.

BOTTOM: James (Jacob Manthey center) waits on his mean aunts Sponge (left, Sadie Whitman) and Spiker (Rachel Bammel).
