This darkly funny musical, with one of Sondheim's great musical scores, explores the dark side of the American dream. In a society where we are told that we can have everything if we try hard enough, what happens to those who end up with nothing? The show focuses on the lives of nine individuals who killed, or tried to kill, a President of the United States.
