Some years ago, ReVision Theatre produced plays at the Carousel House on the Asbury Park boardwalk. They were terrific! ReVision Theatre presents Tony Award- winner Jason Robert Brown's hit musical. The show debuted at Northlight Theatre in Illinois in 2001 and made its Off-Broadway debut at the Minetta Lane Theatre on March 3, 2002. The production won the 2002 Drama Desk Award for outstanding music and lyrics, as well as receiving Drama Desk nominations for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Actor, Outstanding Actress, Outstanding Orchestrations, and Outstanding Set Design in a Musical Production.
ReVision Theatre is delighted to welcome Broadway's Ephie Aardema (Bridges of Madison County) back home after first appearing in ReVision's inaugural production of HAIR at the historic carousel house. Ephie will play opposite fellow HAIR cast member and ReVision veteran Spiro Galiatsatos.

Revision Theatre will round out its summer season with tick, TICK...BOOM! This autobiographical musical by Johnathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning composer of the smash hit RENT, is the story of an aspiring composter who agonizes over his career as his 30th birthday quickly approaches. First performed as a solo rock monologue by Larson in 1990, it was later revamped by playwright David Auburn as a three-actor piece and premiered off-Broadway on June 13, 2001 at the Jane Street Theatre. ReVision Theatre brings an exciting version of this seldom produced musical to Asbury Park.
