the new best practices: leadership in a time of crisis

WHEN: Thursday, July 16, 9–9:45AM
WHERE:
Zoom
NJPAC invites you to join us for an online version of our popular Business Partners Roundtable discussions.

Join us for a conversation with two of New Jersey’s leading executives — Anton Vincent, President, Mars Wrigley North America, and Denise Woodard, Founder and CEO of Partake Foods, a Jersey City start-up that makes allergen-free baked goods, backed by investors including Jay-Z — to learn how they are guiding their businesses and evolving their thinking in an extraordinary era shaped by the pandemic, the most significant economic setback since the Great Depression, and a nationwide reckoning with racism.

They’ll share their insights into this unprecedented time with us at the next NJPAC Business Partners Roundtable @ Home.

To join us
simply follow the registration link below; details for logging onto this Zoom meeting will be emailed to you.

YOU’RE INVITED TO ATTEND THE YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY (YEA!)
2017 INVESTOR PANEL COMPETITION

It’s the Battle of the Businesses!

The Hamilton Stage is the place to be when 16 rising stars, ages 12-18, pitch to a panel of local business and industry leaders and are awarded start-up funds to launch their own business.

With 5 minutes on the clock, students in grades 6-12 take the stage to pitch their business plans to a panel of investors in front of a live audience for start-up funding during the program’s annual YEA! Investor Panel event.  Based on the appeal and merit of the students’ plans and presentations, the investors will determine the amount of funds to allocate to each business or social movement. The investors will also select one business to advance to the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Saunders Scholars Competition, where they will compete with students across the United States for college scholarships and business start-up prize packages. Winners of this semifinals competition will advance to the finals in Washington DC.
