6th Edition Art Fair 14C

Today is an exciting day for ARTS 14C and our biggest programs!

The application for the 6th Edition of Art Fair 14C is open, and the first artists are moving in to the Project 14C live/work residency.

We officially launch the Project 14C program January 1, 2025, but are "soft" open in November and December.

Artists interested in studios or the residency program are encouraged to apply - we will be adding between 10 and 20 artists each month.

14C has moved our offices to the 6th floor of 150 Bay Street, and will have a presence throughout the building.

The 4th and 5th floors will be Project 14C live/work spaces for artists of all disciplines, while the 6th floor will be work spaces: a combination of studio spaces and arts organization offices.

Although artists have started to occupy the 5th and 6th floors, right now we're saving the 40,000 sq ft 4th floor for Art Fair 14C.

WAR peace exhibition at Gallery 14C extended to March 23, 2025

Tomorrow, Saturday Nov 2nd, at 3pm we will have the first in a series of talks around the subject of war and peace at Gallery 14C.

The topic is "Social inequity and war" and we are pleased to have as an expert guest Dr. David Gerlach, Associate Professor of History at Saint Peter's University.

The conversation is meant to be free-flowing and interactive, with ideas sparked by the works of art in the WAR peace exhibition.

The gallery is open from 1pm-4pm, but please join us at 3pm for the talk.

Gallery 14C returns to Miami Art Week in December! Our open call for 12x12 works of art has been extended through 11:59pm on November 3rd.

Any artist who has shown at Gallery 14C or Art Fair 14C is welcome to submit work that is 12 inches x 12 inches (ish) - we're not being too exacting about the measurements, but the work shouldn't be significantly larger or smaller.

And the 35th JCAST brought art and art lovers together on a lovely weekend in October—we're having an open community meeting to discuss what worked and what didn't, and to gather ideas for the future of the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour.
