Meet Tevye’s Daughters
Five Talents, One Heartfelt Story
|
Why does tradition
matter—and how do we find our way in a world that won’t stop changing?
These questions drive the heart of Fiddler on the Roof,
opening Friday, November 1 at Axelrod Performing Arts Center,
with performances running through Sunday, November 24. With big laughs,
timeless music and vibrant performances, this production promises to
leave you smiling all the way home.
At the
center of it all are Tevye’s five daughters, who steal the show with
the crowd-favorite Matchmaker—a song that’s been making
audiences hum along since Bette Midler first brought the role of
Tzeitel to Broadway in 1964.
Now, meet
the talented actresses bringing Tevye’s daughters to life—their unique
backgrounds enrich their portrayals, adding new layers to these beloved
characters.
