Synopsis: Myron Siegel is a hapless producer whose latest
Broadway show, Foxy Felicia, is being sabotaged by his archrival, who
will go to any lengths to out-do Myron. What does this have to do with
King Kong? You’ll have to come to this screwball comedy to find out!

Brash, blunt, sarcastic. Myron’s mother.
Bertrille Siegel (Female
30s/40s) Very beautiful, vain, wife of Myron.
Little Willie (Male 30s) Thug.
Makes the world a better place by expanding his vocabulary.
Daisy (Female 20s) Cute, in awe
of NYC (from Buffalo). Niece of Myron.
Ann Farrow (Female 20s) Pretty,
young, target of Kong’s affection.
Jack Driscoll (Male 30s)
Terminally sweet and sincere. Ann’s fiance.
Carl Dennam (Male 40s) Brusque,
succinct. Myron’s nemesis, has produced winners concurrently to Myron’s
failures.
Sig Higgenbottom (Male 60+)
Myron’s financial backer. Wears a terrible toupee. Speaks with a middle
European accent.

NOTES FOR AUDITIONERS
Audition materials will be provided. Please bring a
resume and headshot if you have them. Ladies, please wear heels for the
audition, as costumes will be dresses and heels.
Rehearsals will be 2-3 evenings/week, Sundays –
Thursdays, based on best actor availability. Please be prepared to list
all potential rehearsal conflicts on your audition form, from March 17
– June 6. June 2 (Tech Sunday) rehearsal will likely be afternoon and
evening. Rehearsals are mandatory Tech Week: June 2 – 6, as are all
performances, June 7 – 23.
Please
be honest with conflicts, as it will assist scheduling rehearsals for
efficiency of everyone’s time.
