Watch Art Is Essential now on the New Jersey Symphony’s YouTube channel!

Art Is Essential, which recently won the Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Award for Arts – Long Form Content (single program), showcases the New Jersey Symphony’s 2021–22 opening-weekend concert at NJPAC on October 10, 2021. Music Director Xian Zhang conducts a celebratory program that features the world premiere of Michael Abels’ Emerge and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. Resident Artistic Catalyst Daniel Bernard Roumain also joins the orchestra as featured soloist of his own Voodoo Violin Concerto.
