JC Fridays

Jersey City’s premiere quarterly arts festival will showcase a variety of events including visual art exhibitions, music performances, studio tours, and more hosted at local businesses, galleries, studios, and arts organizations. 

Visitors are encouraged to travel from place to place to discover art and to enjoy the local arts scene. 

As one of the preeminent art scenes in the tri-state area, Jersey City is rich with a wide variety of artists. The festival provides a special opportunity for visitors to interact with artists and experience their newest projects and works.

Pop-Up Art Fair Presents 
Adé, A Pop-Up Gallery Show

Pop-Up Art Fair is excited to present our upcoming Pop-Up Gallery show, Adé. This showcase is an art show centering on artists of African descent and features those working in or around the concept of African art and culture. Adé means "crown" or "royalty" in Yoruba. Come engage, converse, and celebrate the culture.

The Fine Arts Gallery is pleased to present “Dreamscapes” – an extraordinary painting exhibition that will take you on a mesmerizing journey through the realm of dreams and the untamed imagination. At the heart of this exhibition is the talented artist Caridad Sierra Kennedy, whose visionary creations serve as portals into surreal worlds and untamed thoughts. Caridad’s artistry goes beyond the canvas, as she weaves emotions, symbolism, and ethereal beauty into each stroke of her brush. Her pieces evoke a profound sense of wonder and introspection, inviting the viewer to explore their own dreamscapes and deepest desires.

Fires and Fluidity by Katrose Woodward

"Fires and Fluidity" invites viewers to reflect on the intricate relationship between humanity and the environment, blurring the boundaries between reality and the fantastical. Through the juxtaposition of abstract expressionism and storytelling, the paintings aim to evoke emotions, provoke thought, and inspire a sense of connection and responsibility towards our planet. The abstract forms in the paintings take on organic and fluid shapes, representing the chaos, unpredictability, and volatility of the changing climate.
