Sundays @ 7 Series Presents Lonergan’s
THE WAVERLY GALLERY
ONE NIGHT ONLY
ONLY $5 at the Door

Sunday, September 17, 2023, @ 7:00 pm

The Chatham Community Players is excited to present Kenneth Lonergan’s THE WAVERLY GALLERY as a part of “Sundays @ 7,” their successful Play Reading Series. One Night ONLY at the Chatham Playhouse, 23 North Passaic Avenue, in Chatham. Lynn Polan directs.

Gladys, the elderly matriarch of the Green family, has run an art gallery in a small Greenwich Village hotel for many years. The management wants to replace her less-than-thriving gallery with a coffee shop. Always irascible but now increasingly erratic, Gladys is a cause of concern to her daughter, her son-in-law, and her grandson, from whose point of view this poignant memory play is told. A wacky and heartrending look at the effect of senility on a family the play was a success both on and off-Broadway.

The Cast:

Producers - Leslie Williams Ellis and Gus Ibranyi

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

Patrons are encouraged to BYOB & Snacks!
