About: This
beautifully wooded park is located on Rahway Avenue, between the
new Modera Apartment complex, the Woodbridge Train station and
Walgreens.
Seating:
Bring a chair or a blanket. A few benches and picnic tables are
scattered about as well.
Food and Drink:
A food truck will be present serving grilled items such as cheese
steaks and burgers. Woodbridge
Brewing Company will be serving their own beer in
addition to wine and hard seltzers. A number of eateries are located
just around the corner on Main Street and nearby the park.
Getting There: Parker
Press Park is a hidden gem. It's tucked in between Rahway Avenue and
the train station, hidden by the Modern apartment complex.
Train users can simply walk through the tunnel to the park.
Free Parking: is available in the train station parking lots and the
Berkley College lot directly opposite the park entrance on Rahway
Ave. Additional entrances can be found under the train station and
off the path that parallels the train tracks between Main and Green
Streets.
Accessibility:
The grounds are flat and wheelchair friendly. An accessible portable
toilet is available.
Other: Well
behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
