MPAC Arts in The Community Presents: Theatre of Light 2022

Sunday, December 4, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This free community event is generously supported by ADP.

The universal symbol of light will illuminate the rich cultural diversity of our community when Mayo Performing Arts Center partners with Morris Arts to transform the Vail Mansion Plaza into a “Theatre of Light,” this Sunday, December 4!

Entertainment will be provided by MPAC's Performing Arts Company, The Unity Steppers, Emedin Rivera and the Fluxion Entertainment Dancers.

Hot chocolate and empanadas will be available for sale courtesy of Town Kitchen and NOM.

A curtain of stars and lights will welcome the community onto the Vail Plaza for this free event.  Stop by the “Visit the Star” selfie station and the Wishing on a Star table where you can write your individual wishes for the season that will become an integral part of the evening’s light display!

Prior to the event, this Saturday, December 3 at 1 pm and 4 pm, MPAC will hold a free community engagement workshop in which the public can create stars to be featured at the event. This free workshop will take place at the Morristown Green and will be held in conjunction with the Morristown Partnership.  All are welcome!

Give A Ticket, Lift A Spirit.

Give A Ticket, Lift A Spirit!

This holiday season, help us give the gift of the arts to our community!

The performing arts inspire us all, and they can be especially uplifting to those facing personal hardships, financial challenges or other hurdles to attending live events like the ones MPAC is proud to offer.

Each year, MPAC proudly partners with community service organizations to donate hundreds of tickets to our performances to those in need. We hope you will consider making a donation to help us cover the costs of this important effort, enabling MPAC to continue to share the magic of live entertainment with our community.

A $50 donation covers the cost of a single ticket to most MPAC events. Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated and will help MPAC reach our goal of $10,000 for this special year-end campaign!
