2022-23 Season Is on The Way

A
new season for the Montclair Orchestra gets underway with APEX Ensemble
this fall, with appearances by New York Philharmonic’s Colin Williams,
MET Opera Co-Concertmaster Benjamin Bowman, and the reigning
Tchaikovsky Competition Gold Medalist Zlatomir Fung. A thread of
classic Beethoven symphonies ties the season together for a range of
music throughout the ages.

soon. Multiple ticket purchase options will be available including
individual concert and season tickets, as well as a new PWYC Your Tix
offer where you can “Pay What You Can” for select seats. Full details

Sunday: Montclair Early Music
‘Jubilee’
APEX will
be participating in Montclair Early Music’s “Jubilee”
program, a celebration of African American music, art and
dance on Sunday, June 26th, at 3pm. A string quartet of APEX
musicians will be accompanying virtuoso recorder player
Emily O’Brien at Montclair Art Museum for a special
contemporary work by African American composer Melika
Fitzhugh. Admission also includes admission to the current
MAM exhibit with Jerry Pinkney.

August: Music on The Waterfront
Come and
enjoy an evening of chamber music at South Mountain
Recreational Complex Clipper Pavilion in West Orange! On Tuesday, August
2nd, at 7pm, APEX will present a chamber
concert at the outdoor waterfront pavilion on Cherry Lane.
Bring your picnic and experience a beautiful evening of
music in a picturesque setting.
