Once again, I would like to thank you for supporting La Cinematheque and New Wave Productions. The success of the Pasolini film festival confirms our identity as the venue for screening and discussing classic and contemporary films in a real movie theater setting. Our new membership structure will run from September 2022 to June 2023 (details to follow).
We continue to celebrate our 10-year anniversary with two classic films by two visionary directors. Please join us May 22 and June 26 at 2 pm in the Village at SOPAC in South Orange.
The first film, Jean Cocteau’s La Belle et La Bete (Beauty & The Beast) has rarely been seen on the big screen and is a stunning visual experience. The great film from 1947 is not to be confused with the Disney animated film.
