Experience the Exceptional…Expect the Unexpected! MOMIX transports audiences from their everyday lives to a fantasy world through its trademark use of magical lighting and imagery.

In an endless search for another gravity, Artistic Director Moses Pendleton combines athletic dance, riveting music, outrageous costumes, inventive props and pure talent to create an entertaining multimedia experience that will surprise, enchant and astonish.

Alan Cumming (Cabaret, The Good Wife) and Ari Shapiro (NPR’s All Things Considered) both transport audiences to other worlds through their stories. Now, they’re joining forces in song. Witness the debut of their new evening of tunes and tall tales. Musical director Henry Koperski joins them in this incredibly entertaining show that gets the audience involved with an ever-changing Q&A.

National Geographic Live: Adaptation
Alizé Carrère: Environmental Anthropologist & Filmmaker
Wednesday, April 27, at 10:30 am (school groups) and 7:30 pm
This event is presented FREE to the public thanks to a generous grant from BASF.

Limited free tickets are available to the public for our 10:30 am school-time presentation. Please reserve on our website.

Note: this event is intended for and attended by school groups. All other seating will be general admission and seated behind the students.

All evening tickets have been distributed. Please check with the box office next week to see if tickets become available.



 

 

 

About this presentation:

Explore the remarkable ways people around the world are adapting to our changing planet with environmental anthropologist and filmmaker Alizé Carrère. From the floating gardens of Bangladesh to the ice pyramids of northern India, Carrère offers a hopeful look at the resilience, perseverance, and innovation of humankind under even the most difficult of conditions.
