Spring Events @ Farmstead Arts Center

Farmstead Arts Center is proud to announce an exciting roster of events for the Spring of 2022.

Fundraiser for Ukraine
WHEN: Sunday, April 24th, from 1-4pm
WHERE: 
English Barn
ADMISSION
free registration, with suggested donation $25 at the door.

Featuring a Ukrainian Easter egg decorating demonstration by Odarka Stockert, a traditional folk music performance by Oksana Telepko, delicious refreshments, and more! All proceeds will go towards Ukrainian refugee relief. 

Conversations in Clay
by the Potters’ Guild of New Jersey 
WHEN: Saturday, April 30th, and Sunday, May 1st, from 11am - 5pm. 

Showcasing the work of over 45 artisans, this event will feature a selection of pottery and sculpture for sale, with the opportunity to meet talented potters and get to know the stories behind their work.

Patio Grand Opening & Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
WHEN: Sunday, May 1st, 2 – 4 pm (rain or shine)

We will enjoy a festive afternoon as Mayor Baldassare cuts the ceremonial ribbon in celebration of our new outdoor space. Take in our Members’ Art Exhibit, some live music by the BrassWorks Quintet, and some refreshments!

Spring Forth! Members' Art Show
WHEN: currently scheduled to take place during our gallery hours from May 1st to June 3rd. 

Our annual members’ exhibition will feature works from 15+ community artists, which display a diverse range of mediums, influences, and styles. Come see what our local community artists have to offer!

Live music by Harper Lovey and the Waitlist 
WHEN: Saturday, June 4th

Harper Lovey and the Waitlist will be performing music in a variety of genres, as well as many of Harper Lovey’s original songs. Be sure to bring your favorite picnic blanket or comfy lawn chair!

We are glad to welcome back live theater productions to our list of event offerings.

Lee Blessing’s Cobb
by the talented Lord Stirling Theater Company
WHEN: June 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th from 7:30pm., and on the 19th and 26th from 4:00pm.
TICKETS:
$25 for general admissions, $23 for seniors and students, and $15 for children under the age of 12. Join our community of members to access the special reduced rate of $20 per ticket!

Classes continue to run virtually with select in-person offerings. Students can choose from Art, Guitar, and Photography options. One-day workshops are also available. Details and descriptions can be found on the website.
