Art in Bloom is one
of the Museum’s most cherished and widely attended celebrations
that brings spring to life throughout the galleries and
museum.
Art in Bloom will be on view to the public for a limited run from
May 18-22, 2022. This special pop-up exhibition is a biennial
celebration of floral design, featuring unique creations from over
40 floral designers, each beautiful piece inspired by a different
work of art in our galleries. They are reinterpreting work from
MAM’s permanent collection and the exhibition Tenacity &
Resilience: The Art of Jerry Pinkney.

Special events
benefit the Montclair Art Museum’s exhibitions and education
programs and advance its mission to engage and inspire diverse
audiences across the region.
This year the
Museum will be honoring four extraordinary community leaders: Betty
Jagoda Murphy, Michael Heningburg, Christine James, and Sharon
Taylor for their unwavering friendship, generosity, and advocacy
for the arts. These honorees planted seeds of change in Montclair,
contributing to its transformation into a destination for culture,
art, and higher learning and creating an indelible legacy of
community service that extends well beyond the town’s borders.
