at 7 p.m. for Charting a Path: Linking Patronage to Potential.
Charting a Path is a discussion
that focuses on the various roles in arts patronage, and the
importance of guiding emerging artists on their path towards
gaining exposure and realizing their artistic potential. This
discussion will be led and curated by international photographer,
artist, and arts advocate Ayana V. Jackson, who will be
joined by South African photographer Phumzile Khanyile, a
resident at Jackson’s STILL Artist Residency Program, and
photographer/ interior designer Niya Bascomb, a partner at
Brooklyn-based Ishka Designs, who will add their insights from the
artist and collector perspectives.
