In this class, we will read two very successful ten-minute plays and learn all about how to structure a story, so it reaches an audience. You will learn the tricks of the trade and the language of playwrighting, so your stories can be both personal and Universal. Ours is a safe community of writers who support each other and champion the success of everyone in our ‘guild'. Come and tell your story for the stage!
Maya Angelou once said: "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
Telling and sharing stories may be even more important, now, that people have been forced by circumstances to isolate and restructure their daily lives. Playwrighting is different from short story writing in that theater is cooperative; writing and sharing plays are community activities.
