NJ Makers Day

Stop by and check out our pop-up Maker Space! There
will be 3D pens, LEGO building, button making and more! New Jersey Makers
Day inspires and activates libraries to showcase and
highlight STEM and maker culture, enhancing life-long learning.
Join us for a crash course in using Tinkercad, a free
website for designing 3D objects. Each participant will have their
3D design printed for free after the workshop.

In this class we'll practice preparing and analyzing
some sample sales data, using formulas. The class will focus on
intermediate-level functions, such as VLOOKUP and conditional

Sculptors of NYC with Sylvia Laudien-Meo

Up until August 2020, NYC only had 5 Public Art works
that represent historic women. However, there are a huge number of
sculptures created by female artists. During the 19th century, mostly upper-class women were able to win public commissions, but female
artists have increasingly succeeded to gain visibility in modern

Calling all Lego-maniacs! We will give a
themed-build challenge and see what the kids can create! Many of
the Lego sculptures created will be displayed at the library after
the class. Class size is limited, and registration is required;
register every child who wants to build. Children under 10 must
have a caregiver remain in the building. More
