The Learning Exchange will guide kids in utilizing
the Engineering Design Process to design and create a prototype that
solves a real-world environmental problem.

Sculptors of NYC with Sylvia Laudien-Meo
Thursday, March 31 | 7:00pm
Up until August 2020, NYC only had 5 Public Art works
that represent historic women. However, there are a huge number of
sculptures created by female artists. During the 19th century, mostly upper-class women were able to win public commissions, but female
artists have increasingly succeeded to gain visibility in modern

Calling all Lego-maniacs! We will give a
themed-build challenge and see what the kids can create! Many of
the Lego sculptures created will be displayed at the library after
the class. Class size is limited, and registration is required;
