@ THE BICKFORD THEATRE: LIVE Performance: Safarani Sisters with Choreographer Yamini Kalluri

 

WHEN: Sunday, March 13, at 2 PM WHERE: Bickford Theatre, 6 Normandy Rd., Morristown ADMISSION: Free with Museum admission, Free for Members Body Double expands from the gallery to the stage with a new performance art piece, Merge with Me. In this work, the Safarani Sisters team up with choreographer Yamini Kalluri to create a movement-based piece exploring the themes of borders, unity, and society. This performance will have a soundscape choreographed by Navid Eskandar, masks created by Elham Ayati, and video by Zach Lanoue.  This one-time-only performance augments the works in the exhibition, Body Double: The Safarani Sisters, by bringing a deeper understanding of the artists' work.
