MARCH 2022: A NEW ERA OF CINEMA IN NEW JERSEY
New Wave
Productions/La Cinematheque is advancing to the next level.
Beginning in March, we will open an art house film theater at the Village at SOPAC. Independent
and foreign films, current and classic, will be shown in a real
movie theater on a regular basis. This is the result of a joint
venture with Cinema Lab.
On March 13, we begin the centennial celebration of the birth of
Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini with a double feature of Mamma
Roma and Teorema. Our celebration continues on April 10 with a
double feature of The Decameron and Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom.
This new era is made possible thanks to your continued support. We
will change the film club membership for the next year. If
you already paid for a membership, it will be transferred to a new
membership soon.
