The Weekly
One way to mark the anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on Capitol
Hill is to remember the prayers by Congress' chaplains. Both the
House and Senate chaplains offered memorable and often remarkable
language in the hours before and after the riots. In this week's The
Weekly podcast, hear excerpts from the prayers
delivered by House Chaplain Kibben and Senate Chaplain Black surrounding
the events of Jan. 6, 2021.
