During the Rutgers academic winter
break, December 24, 2021, through January 17, 2022, the Zimmerli
is observing limited public hours. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.
Please note the following as you plan your visit:
- The museum is OPEN to the
public on January 8, 9, 15, and 16, from noon to 5pm. As always, admission is free.
- The museum and its offices are closed December 24
through January 2.
- Museum offices are open and staff members are
available by email and telephone during weekday business
hours from January 3 through 18.
- SparkNight is cancelled on January 6.
- The Zimmerli resumes regular public hours on
Wednesday, January 19.
- In addition, Paparazzi Cafe is closed December 17
through January 23.
We
invite you to experience the Zimmerli's many virtual offerings
during this time. Preview the exhibition Angela Davis—Seize
the Time on
a recent episode of State
of the Arts. The
segment
features interviews with the curators and contributors, as well
as footage throughout the galleries. Catch up on programs
presented by the Zimmerli—including curatorial and artist
talks—on the museum's YouTube channel.
Search the collection on eMuseum.
Or just spend some time looking around our
website, which we redesigned and launched this past
summer.
In
the meantime, stop by to explore our current exhibitions during
regular hours Wednesday through Sunday until
December 23, or join us at one of our upcoming programs.
Sincerely,
Donna Gustafson
Interim Director
