2nd Annual Trunk or Treat
We'd love
for you to join us for our upcoming Trunk of Treat, Ruth!
It will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, at 80 Main Street in
West Orange, NJ.
As with all of our events, there is no admission
fee.
Costumed guests (even Fido) can visit all of the decorated cars to
collect candy.
Guests will get to vote by text message for their favorite trunks who
are competing for a $100 grand prize, and 3 $50 prize categories.
Vendors around the Farmer's Market will also be handing out candy.
The Farmer's Market booth will be participating in the
Teal Pumpkin Project and will have allergy friendly
candy and fun non-food items for the kids.
We are also participating in Rubicon's Trick Or Trash
project. There will be a box on site that is used to collect
empty candy wrappers. At the end of the event, the box will be mailed
to Rubicon to be recycled. Feel free to bring your own candy wrappers
for the box if you've already started enjoying some candy!
There will also be live music by the Howlin' Poets. It may be
loud.

Participating is free but you do need to register

Arrival Time for Vehicles: 10 AM
Exit Time
for Vehicles: 3 PM
At no time for any reason will a vehicle be permitted to exit the
event early.
Vehicle setup / decorating should take place between 10 AM and 11 AM.
You may pre-decorate portions of your vehicle at home if you'd
like. At 11 AM, all decorating must stop and the event will open
to participants and voting via text message.
We request
each vehicle distribute candy, allergy friendly items, and/or small Halloween items to the trick or treaters.

Guests in attendance will vote for their favorite trunks via text
message while at the event.
- Instructions will be distributed to
guests as they enter the market.
- Pictures of trunks and the voting
directions will also be distributed via social media so those at home
can participate.
- Guests will be able to vote 1 time per category per
phone number.
Trunks are competing to win one (1) of the following categories:
- Trunk or
Treat 2021 - BEST TRUNK ($100 prize)
- Trunk of
Treat 2021 - MOST ORIGINAL TRUNK ($50 prize)
- Trunk of
Treat 2021 - SPOOKIEST TRUNK ($50 prize)
- Trunk of
Treat 2021 - SILLIEST TRUNK ($50 prize)
Prizes are available as gift cards to West Orange's favorite local
eateries. Winners also receive custom tombstones!

It's Also Our Last Day
Sadly, October 30th is also our last day for this season.
Be sure to stock up on pickles, spices, ice pops, and so much
more.
It's been a whirlwind year and we appreciate everyone who visited the
Market and supported our vendors.
We look forward to seeing you all again in 2022 in continuing our
journey to become not only the community hub, but in also providing
all of our neighbors with fresh, locally grown produce and gourmet
treats made with love.
Keep your eyes peeled in the next few weeks for our annual
post-season survey...we want to know if we're living up to all
expectations.
