MORRIS ARTS FEST: Outdoor Fine Art, Crafts and Live Music at Lewis Morris Park 


2nd ANNUAL MORRIS ARTS FEST

WHEN: Saturday, October 2 (rain date: Sunday, October 3), 2021, from 1:30 - 5:30pm

 the Doe Meadow area of Lewis Morris County Park, Mendham Rd., Morristown
Please note: The Doe Meadow area at Lewis Morris Park will have restrooms and parking.

In collaboration with the Morris County Park Commission, Morris Arts will present its second Morris Arts Fest, an outdoor festival featuring an art exhibit and sale of works by Morris County area visual artists and crafters, along with live music.     

Visual artists and crafters, working in a wide variety of media including pottery, origami, oils, acrylics, watercolors, fiber art, sculpture, photography, cartooning, collage, jewelry, decorative accessories, and stoneware will showcase and sell their works in the park that day. Live music will also enliven the event with bands and acoustic singers. This family-friendly event brings the arts into everyone’s daily lives and provides Local Artists an outlet to exhibit and show their work to the community.  

Event will follow Covid appropriate guidelines

Morris Arts, located in Morristown, NJ, is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1973 dedicated to building community through the arts. Using the arts to inspire, connect and engage, Morris Arts serves as a resource for Morris County with a special focus on arts programming in the schools and in the community, arts advocacy, creative placemaking and support of the Morris Area community of artists and arts organizations.  

The New Jersey State Council on the Arts has awarded the Morris Arts a “Citation of Excellence” and designated it as a “Major Service Organization” in recognition of its “solid history of service excellence, substantial activity and broad public service.”
