Drummer Karl Latham is an artist, producer and
educator, leading his own group Living Standards and co leading groups Don
Braden/Karl Latham Big Fun(K), Alex Collins, Ryan Berg, Karl Latham and a trio
with Laurence Hobgood and James Robbins. As a freelance musician Karl has
performed with iconic Grammy winning artists in jazz, funk, rock, and world
music. As a freelance drummer, he has performed in the groups of bassist John
Lee, Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Johannes Mossinger, The Dizzy Gillespie Alumni
All-Stars, Ali Ryerson, Howard Paul, Mark Egan Unit1, the Bernie
Worrell Orchestra, Edgar & Johnny Winter, The Shirelles, and many
others.
