Celebrate culture, community, and creative expression at NJPAC’s annual Kwanzaa Festival! Inspired by the Kwanzaa principle of Ujima (collective work and responsibility), this online panel discussion highlights the work of Black theater artists and administrators at the intersection of theater and social justice.

Moderated by Marshall Jones, III of Rutgers University-New Brunswick and trustee of New Jersey Theatre Alliance, our panel features Aaron L. McKinney (Hi-Arts NYC), Andrew Binger (Yendor Theatre Company), Damion Parran (Passage Theatre Company), Desi Shelton (Camden Repertory Theatre) and Janeece Freeman Clark (Vanguard Theater Company).

A collaboration between
New Jersey Theatre Alliance, Newark Arts, and NJPAC
