The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents a virtual (online)
program with Arthur L. Finkle, Shofar sounder, author, educator, historian, and
mediator discussing Shofar
History and Technique.
Finkle, author of Shofar:
History, Technique and Jewish Law (2015) and The Easy Guide to Shofar Sounders
(2000), will facilitate a discussion and demonstration of the
Shofar, its history, musicality, and religious significance.
Arthur L. Finkle is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University with an
MGA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a
certificate in Religious Education from the Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati,
Ohio.

The Jewish Heritage Museum is located in the Mounts Corner Shopping Center, at
310 Mounts Corner Drive Freehold, NJ, at the corner of Route 537 and Wemrock
Road (between the CentraState Medical Center and Freehold Raceway Mall). It is
on the second floor of the historic Levi Solomon Barn. The JHMOMC is a
tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
