Online Masterclasses for New Jersey Students In partnership with the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA), the NJSO is presenting a free online masterclass series for music students across the state who may otherwise not have access to NJSO programs. During these classes, students perform a short piece for an NJSO musician and receive live feedback. A recent participant commented: “I really appreciated all of the feedback you gave me and the other students, and [I] have begun to incorporate them into my daily practice routine. I recorded the Kennan Trumpet Sonata for an audition following the masterclass, and I truly believe the specific feedback you gave influenced it greatly! Thank you so much!” Please consider making a gift to support the NJSO in bringing programs like this to students across New Jersey. To increase the impact of your giving, NJSO Trustee Elin Mueller has challenged the NJSO to raise an additional $250,000 in new or increased donations by June 30, which will be matched by her leadership gift. |
