Congrats to our six winners of the NJ High School AXE Awards, the inaugural competition for the best high school performers in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties, sponsored by Cabaret for Life & Kearny Bank. Over 5,000 people cast their ballots to determine the winners... Thanks to everyone who supported the AXE Awards, and especially our friends at Cabaret for Life for furnishing the scholarship money in honor of Amy Fredericks. The four senior winners will receive $1000 each and the two underclassman winners will receive $500 each. Thank you to Tony Award winner Laura Benanti for all you continue to do for young NJ thespians.
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit multi-disciplinary arts organization that depends on ticket sales and donations to sustain its programming. Our administrative and artistic staff are working together to create new opportunities for artists to perform, teach and share their art with our community.
