2020 GIRALDA MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL POSTPONED

Out of concern for the safety and health of our guests, our artists and performing musicians, Morris Arts is postponing its annual Giralda Music & Arts Festival from its original June 28, 2020 date until sometime in the future, to be announced. Please visit www.morrisarts.org regularly for updates, as they become available.

For the past 36 years, generations of attendees have flocked to Giralda Farms, the gracious lawns of the former Dodge Estate, to enjoy a live performance by the renowned New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the wonderful art/fine craft show and sale, the children’s/family arts activities, the creative picnic contest (for lavish prizes) and to sample delicious fare from participating food trucks.

Sadly, this year’s coronavirus pandemic poses a serious health threat. The musicians, in particular, would be unable to perform on their travelling stage since its tight quarters prevent sufficient social distancing. Additionally, large gatherings of people—typical of our past audiences—remain inadvisable at this time.

Yet, we remain hopeful and look forward to the time when this very special tradition can resume safely. In the interim, we hope you stay safe and healthy, remain connected, visit us online and plan to share the joy of the arts with us once we can safely restore this most special festival.
