This week is National Library Week! National Library Week is celebrated by libraries across the nation as a way to honor the Library’s vital role within the community. This year’s theme is “find your place at the library.” While our physical doors may be closed, our virtual library is open 24/7 and we hope we have continued to be a part of your routine. Our staff is working hard to think of new and innovative ways to connect to you, the Livingston Community, and offer services and entertainment during this difficult and uncertain time. This week we have a schedule of things happening in the virtual library that you can look forward to every day of the week! Stay tuned for fun daily videos, social media posts and more!
Be sure to follow our Instagram @LivingstonPublicLibrary where staff members will be sharing what the library means to them everyday. We are asking you to get involved! Take a photo of yourself reading or using our virtual library resources and tag us at #ltownlibrary to tell us why the library is important to you!
We are also introducing a Patron Survey to check in with our patrons during this COVID-19 time. We want to hear from you, including, what content you are using the most right now, what you’d like to see from us, and general information so that we can better tailor our services. Children choose a science fiction book to read and discuss at a 30 minute online meeting. Children can read a book that they have at home or can borrow one through Hoopla or Libby/ Overdrive.

Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons
