MONCLAIR ORCHESTRA TO RESCHEDULE CONCERT; OFFERS FREE VIDEOS OF PAST CONCERTS

Emerging Voices

April 26 Concert To Be Rescheduled

The Montclair Orchestra will reschedule the final concert of our season, Emerging Voices with MET Opera Lindemann Young Artists, in response to the CDC's guidelines recommending that all gatherings and events of 50 people and more be postponed due to the Coronavirus. Patrons will be contacted with updated concert information once it is confirmed.

For additional information including ticket release and donation, exchanges or refunds, please contact us directly at info@montclairorchestra.org.

Concert Video Footage

In light of the cancelations of performances throughout the world, The Montclair Orchestra will also be releasing FREE video content from concert archives from the last three years on social media feeds (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) every Wednesday at 2pm ET until May 1, 2020.

Check online today at 2pm to relive the first of many incredible performances!

The first two offerings will be the recent performances of Maxwell Davies' An Orkney Wedding, With Sunrise featuring world-renowned bagpiper Kenneth MacKenzie, and Bruch's Scottish Fantasy featuring violinist Richard Lin, gold medal winner of the prestigious 2018 Indianapolis Violin Competition.

Keep The Music Alive

It goes without saying that this is a difficult time. The Montclair Orchestra only receives approximately 20% of its operating revenue from concert tickets. As a nonprofit arts organization, we rely on individuals like you to make donations to help us fulfill our mission of offering developmental playing opportunities for student fellows at top conservatories, playing alongside the best professional orchestra musicians in the world. Please consider making a contribution to help us get through this period, and keep the music alive into the future.
