LIVINGSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY TO CLOSE THROUGH MARCH 27

Dear Livingston Community,

It has certainly been a week of challenges and change. On Thursday evening in consultation with the Library Board of Trustees, the Superintendent, and Township officials we made the decision to close the Library through Friday, March 27th.

Recognizing the central role of the Library in the community, it is always our intention to remain open as long as we feel we can safely be of service. However, due to the information we have regarding COVID-19 and the need for social distancing per CDC standards, we believe the best way we can serve and protect you, the public, and our staff at this time is to offer our services remotely.

During the coming weeks we will all be looking to the news and our local officials for guidance as this continues to unfold. Please check our website for the latest information regarding library operations. We will do our best to respond to any inquiries received through our contact portal.

As always, you can also access our digital collections 24/7 for ebooks, audiobooks, movies, online learning, and more. You can learn more about what online services are available to you at home, here. We will remain active on social media including our Library Blog,, Instagram (@LivingstonLibrary), Twitter (@LivingstonLib), and Facebook.

Stay safe and be well,

Amy Babcock Landry and the entire Livingston Public Library Team
