Artistic Director Dr. Anne J. Matlack leads the acclaimed 100-voice choral society in the concert featuring two world premieres: “In the Beginning was the Word,” a new commission from Sarah Rimkus, and “The Children of All Others,” by composer-in-residence Mark Miller. The concert also includes works from Hassler to Vaughan Williams. “We have commissioned one of my favorite young composers, Sarah Rimkus, and she has set a text in English, Arabic, Mandarin, Hindi, and Spanish,” remarked Dr. Matlack. “This concert celebrates both the holiday and the mystery and importance of what we say (and sing) in many traditions.”

Morristown parking information may be found at www.townofmorristown.org/parking. Doors open one-half hour before the concert begins, but concertgoers are advised to leave plenty of time for parking. The accessible entrance is from the driveway on the north side of the church, and no elevator is needed to access the sanctuary.

Subscription season tickets to all four choral programs during the 2019-2020 Harmonium concert season (December, March, April, and June) are now available for $85 ($65 for students and seniors)—a significant savings over single ticket prices. In addition, subscribers are entitled to preferred, designated seating.
