Vanessa and Janie are best friends ... until a devastating diagnosis forces them to consider what that friendship means and how much it matters. An exploration of aging, mortality, and the value and complexity of female friendship.

The play’s October 6, 2:00 PM matinee will be a benefit for the Cancer Hope Network.

Cancer Hope Network provides free one-on-one emotional peer support to adult cancer patients and their loved ones. Each of CHN’s 400+ volunteers is at least one year post-treatment or successfully undergoing maintenance therapies. They have faced more than 80 cancer types and speak 15 languages. CHN’s volunteers offer support from diagnosis, through treatment and into recovery. Cancer Hope Network serves cancer patients in the United States and Canada.

A portion of all tickets sold for the October 6 performance will be donated to Cancer Hope Network, and several survival volunteers will take part in the post-matinee talkback, along with the creative team of the production.
