WHERE: Somerset Valley Playhouse, 689 Amwell Road, Hillsborough
Performance dates: December 6, 2019 - December 22, 2019, Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. There will be an additional matinee on Saturday December 14th at 2 pm
It's Christmas Eve, and Mrs. Frump, the director of the Peaceful Valley Orphanage, is planning what she believes will be the most special Christmas ever for her kids. She's borrowed an old bus and arranged for each child to spend Christmas with a family in the area. Along the journey, they meet a traveling troubadour who's returning home for the holiday. It's an adventuresome ride, culminating in a Christmas even more special than Frump could have ever imagined.
Director Ed Hayden seeks the following:

2-5 Adult Males Ages 35+
2-5 Adult Females Ages 35+

Sheriff Snodgrass | 40s-50s | Local lawman and tireless investigator. |
The Busybodies (3) | Adult | Three harpies who make life difficult for Frump. |
The Kids (8+) | 8 to 14 | Orphans, looking forward to a special family style holiday. |
The Troubadour | 20s-30s | Traveling Folksinger |
Darlene | 20s-30s | The troubadour's reluctant girlfriend. |
Special Notes for Auditioners
- Auditioners will be asked to sing a short sample of a holiday song of their choice, and possibly one other at director's discretion.
- All auditioners will do cold readings both by themselves and in groups.
