WORKERS ON THE FARM: 1900s IMMIGRATION EXPERIENCE


WHEN: April 13, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m
WHERE: Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, 73 Kahdena Road, Morris Township
ADMISSION: $8 per adult, $7 per senior (65+), $6 per child age 4 - 16, and $4 per child age 2 & 3. FREE for children under age 2.

Experience a day in the life of Irish immigrant farm workers and house servants who worked for the Foster family during the 19th and 20th centuries. Take an exciting journey through history learning their unique stories, help with farm chores and spring cleaning duties, and enjoy Irish-American musical performances. Learn more here.

Enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning at Fosterfields! Learn about life on the farm and how to take care of the animals. Collect eggs, plant your own garden, and visit the friendly horses and cows. Select Saturdays: April 6 - June 15. Each one-hour session features a unique theme:

May 4: Baby Animals
May 18: Horses & Carriages
June 1: Gardens
June 15: Cows

WHEN: Saturday, April 6—Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m

COST: $8 per parent/child pair, $4 per additional siblings, or $45 for the series of 6 classes.
