JERSEY CITY THEATRE CENTER SEEKS SUBMISSIONS ON THE TOPIC OF “PRIVILEGE” TO CLOSE THE EXHIBITION

SUBMISSIONS SOUGHT: WHERE: Email submissions to: maxdarkroom@gmail.com In search of music, poetry, spoken word, mixed media, dance and performance art on the topic of Privilege. Selected original pieces will be performed at the closing of the gallery, a showcase event entitled The Box: Privilege on Friday, March 29th. Selected performers will be called for a tech rehearsal on Tuesday, March 26. Life is a miracle—everyone is privileged to be born—but why does society give some more privileges than others and how aware are we of either the opportunities our privilege provides or the oppression our lack of privilege creates?
