Circle Players Presents Audition Classes in February, March

Classical/Contemporary Auditioning Class with Jessica Damrow Sherman

In the contemporary portion of the class, Jessica touches on choosing contemporary monologues for audition, and then delves into the hard work of both preparing them and delivering them in performance. Special focus will be given to voice and diction, physicality, and maintaining an active objective throughout the speech. Students should come prepared with one or more contemporary monologues they wish to work on in a class setting. Attention will also be paid to overall audition technique.
