Experience a thriller Saturday night at the JCC in West Orange

BUDAPEST NOIR

Set in the politically fraught autumn of 1936, this mystery follows hard-boiled reporter Zsigmond Gordon as he probes the murder of a young prostitute. Against the backdrop of the funeral of a fascist-leaning Hungarian prime minister, Gordon follows clues that take him into the city’s underbelly—a world of pornography and fixers, boxers and brothels, powerful crime syndicates, and secret Communist cells—and all the way to the highest echelons of power.
