Cardon Raquet

July 9th, Monday 7pm
Library Gazebo Series
Roxbury Public Library, 103 Main St., Succasunna

I’ve been playing music for as long as I can remember… it’s in my blood and in my soul and I know I’ll be singing and playing guitar until the day I die.

I was brought up on music from the greatest era there ever was musically—Woodstock, Watkins Glen, Newport Jazz Fest. The artists that performed at these shows had a profound impact on me, inspired me and became a part of me.

I have been fortunate to have played some awesome venues, such as, The Stanhope House, Brooklyn Bowl, the Acoustic Café and Mountain Jam Stage, NOLA Jazz Fest, not to mention getting to rub elbows on stage with the likes of George Porter Jr and Robert Randolph.

Every song I play, every song I write, is played and written with soul—you’ll hear it in my voice and feel it from my guitar.
