The evening will be filled with fun, songs and good cheer. Hosted by the charming antics of Bob McNally, all will be delighted. The performers each contribute their own style to songs of the season, from the very serious to the seriously silly. The evening will delight and entertain all.
Providing festive cheer for us will be
Sharon Goldman, a singer/songwriter whose "intense, insightful, vivid" storytelling is a "clinic in how to paint an indelible picture with the simplest images and symbols."
Gordon Thomas Ward, who paints musical portraits that plumb the depths of our emotions and bring the past to life while pointing to a hope-filled future. His listeners travel mystical and historical roads, winding through lush, sonic landscapes filled with sea coasts, ghosts, history, rivers, coffee shop waitresses, and railroad engineers.
We Three Ukes—Beth Bachmann, Sheri Alexander and Kevin Coughlin—will serve an eclectic platter of Yuletide confections old and new, with all the sweetness that 12 strings (4 x 3) can deliver. Guaranteed gluten-free and non-GMO.
Carolyn Messina, a singer/songwriter, a girl with a guitar, a storyteller whose songs about life, love, loss and more come from her personal journey... experiences which nearly everyone can relate to.
Frosty Morning began as an early Folk Project derived band, initially formed to play fiddle contests and soon evolved into a high-energy band playing dances and concerts. Frosty Morning has performed at many events in NJ/PA/NY including appearances on commercial and public TV, corporate and private parties, weddings, concerts, and contra and square dances. They were judged “NJ Best Band” at the NJ Folk Festival in 1981. Although they haven’t played a lot together recently, they still retain that high energy and happiness they’ve always had.
